In order to continue its mission
of providing musical opportunities of the highest quality to talented
and dedicated Rochester area young musicians, the RPYO depends upon
the generous support of its Friends in the community, its Alumni,
and its current Families.
Donations to the RPYO are welcome
in any amount or at the levels suggested below for the general support
of the youth orchestra’s
annual programs, or for the special funds here described. All donations
to the RPYO are tax-deductible as provided by law.
- Unrestricted Program Fund -to help
keep membership affordable to any qualified music
student.
- Richard Snook Financial
Aid Fund - to
assist qualified families with dues payments.
- Program Development Fund – to
develop additional musical opportunities through guest artists,
composers-in-residence, newly composed music, community outreach
concerts .
- Special Instrument Acquisition
Fund – to acquire special instruments that enrich
the orchestra but
may be beyond the financial reach of many families.
- Retreat Fund -
to help continue and develop this critical ensemble-building weekend.
- Artistic Support
Fund– to provide opportunities for students to
work with guest conductors and other
professional musicians, and to provide additional coaching
sessions.
- Endowment Fund— to provide for
the secure future of the RPYO.
