RPO SPRING BREAK MINI-CAMP 2024

On Wednesday, April 3rd & Thursday, April 4th, the RPO will be hosting a mini side-by-side reading session open to all current RPYO students, prospective RPYO students, & friends of RPYO students.

This is an opportunity to rehearse and perform great repertoire next to RPO musicians!

Requirements for participation:

1. Must be in grades 7-12

2. Must be at an advanced playing level equivalent in most cases to NYSSMA Level 6

3. Must submit this interest form no later than 3/15

No audition and no fees!

Location: Temple B'rith Kodesh (2131 Elmwood Ave)

The schedule for this event:

Wednesday, 4/3

• 10:00am-12:00pm - Strings only reading and rehearsing a string orchestra and a full orchestra piece.

• 2:00pm-4:00pm - Winds, brass, and percussion reading and rehearsing a wind ensemble and full orchestra piece.

Thursday, 4/4

• 6:00pm - Everyone for a soundcheck/full orchestra run-through and a concert for family and friends

If you have been accepted, you will receive a confirmation email no later than 3/18 with part assignments and access to music.
